With the sound of the alarm, Daisy woke up at once.
"Oh...oh okay" she turned to her side and still found her sleeping sister.
She sprang to her feet, it was time for her to prepare breakfast for the family, if she is a minute late, it's gonna be hell.

She got to work immediately..........
In less than two hours, she was done with cleaning the house and preparing breakfast.
She dished hers and that of Sophie's and took it to their room.
Getting into the room, Sophie was already awake, bathed and already dressed.

"That's my girl" she smiled and placed the food on the side table.
"You should go freshen up and let's eat". Sophie said and she nodded.
An hour later, they were done and Daisy took the dishes to the kitchen but saw the face she hated the most in the house, MANDY! her step-sister.

"Look who's here, it's no other person than D A I S Y ( spelling the name) - Daisy" she smirked while folding her hands giving Daisy the meanest look.

Daisy on the other hand was trying all her best to ignore her, do the dishes and leave the house to drop her sister off at school.

"Ptuff... what's the matter today, you aren't retorting back. You've lost all the boldness you had like it never existed." She continued to talk and was mad that the other wasn't even paying attention to her but kept washing the dishes.
Mandy was so mad and immediately she pulled her by the hair .

"You think you are better huh, you think you've won against me, did you ever think I was gonna let you go after all you caused me you b*tch!!" She ranted and pulled the girl hair harder, in return something hard landed on the side of her head and she let go immediately.

Sophie had step into the kitchen just to see the scene and used her shoe as a weapon to defend her sister. On seeing that Mandy had to let go of her, Daisy picked the shoe on the floor, grabbed her sister's hand and rushed out passing the curious eyes of those in the sitting room ( Her Stepmother and Dad).

She didn't stop until she knew she was away from the house.

"Why would you let her pull your hair like that?" she turned to her sister and handed her the shoe.

"Thanks for your help back there but you know we are in trouble now, thank goodness you already grab your things but mine are still inside"
"Here is your purse and phone" Sophie opened her backpack and handed her a little purse and her phone.

"Oh.. thanks, I'll drop you off at school so I can get to work."

---------- At the end of the day.
Daisy was done with work and she has received her paycheck.
A smile crossed her lips as she remembers the little promise she made to Sophie.
She headed to Sophie teacher's house to pick her up and they both went home.

On getting to the house, she found everything strange, there was a car and two men standing guard beside it.
The look on the men face was telling her everything was not fine. Not knowing what to do she went inside holding her sister so tight.
Right there was her dad and his wife both kneeling in front of an unknown man sitting on their sofa.
She could feel her sister shake and held her close to herself.
The man turned to her and smiled.
"Who do we have here, guess these are your daughters Mr Miller. At least you weren't that useless since you got yourself good looking kids." He said while his eyes were glued on Daisy.
This made her uncomfortable and she turned to leave the place but was stopped by a cold looking guard.

"Leave them out of this, you only have issues with me" The dad muttered.

"Really, I guess they mean a lot to you then. Alright I'll give you another chance and you better make use of the chance well. He stood up and turned to leave.

"Thank you, I promise not to make the same mistake again"
The man didn't glance at him and he just signaled one of his men who immediately grabbed Daisy while shoving Sophie aside and he went out.

"What is going on...let go of me.. Dad..Dad!... You can't take me, I have nothing to do with this...please let me go .... please.." she kept screaming and crying trying to wiggle out of the man's grip but she was no match. Sophie immediately held the man by his cloth but he just shoved her aside again and took Daisy out with him.
"Leave my sister alone, please don't hurt us" she cried but all fell on deaf ears.

"You can't do this!" her dad said trying to reach out to the man holding her but was blocked by the other one.

"You heard him right, this is your last chance". He groaned and left leaving the couple and the crying child in the sitting room.

Mr Miller kept pacing back and forth in the living room.

"What am I gonna do now, I can't have those people coming to take everything, they are gonna destroy all if they come back here again!" He ranted out while his wife tried to hold him in place.

"We just have to figure it out, at least we still have more time now you know" she sat him down.

"I know but what if they hurt her Meredith, I can't have one of my kid die all because of my selfishness." He looked at strangely knowing what she meant.

"Well, you can't do anything about that can you, she is on her own now, she has to try to survive till we finally find a way out of this mess"

"She's going to die?! Dad you have to save her, please..." Sophie cried out and Meredith hissed at the sight.

"She's not gonna die Sophie, I will get her back. Just go to your room right now." He answered her.

" But..." The kid was trying to talk but was cut off by already pi**ed Meredith

"To your room kid, we have a lot to attend to, it's not the time for your wailing"

The mean voice made Sophie cry back to her room, her only support was now gone.

||||||||Meanwhile
A car pulled over in front of a massive black gate.
The guards checked the vehicle before letting them pass through.
There were upto ten guards patrolling the compound right before the car got to the second gate,they let them through after a second check and they finally parked the car.
Two men stepped out from the back while the third one brought someone out of the car and tossed the sedated person over his shoulder.
The other two stepped out from the front and they headed into the building.

Inside an almost dark room was a man standing with his back turned towards the door. The aura around him was cold just like his emotionless face.
That minute a gentle knock came through.

"Open" he ordered in a deep low voice.
The fellow walked in and bowed.

"They're back Boss but it seems like they brought an hostage" he reported and waited for the next action from the man.

He dismissed him with a wave and the fellow left.
