The laptop will be awarded to only the participants in Category A.

Be informed that the invitation letters will be issued out to all selected participants from tomorrow evening. This is as a result of ASWANS resolution to uphold what their vision states and protecting the interest of the students. The email shall contain the invitation letter, fund support letter to seek support from people and a response form you will send back to us before november 30. The conference is scheduled on the 11th &12th of December 2015.

A PRESS RELEASE BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF SWAG-V INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Warm greetings, Nigerian and International Students! We believe you great future leaders have been fine. We wish to thank you all for your trust, patience and unequalled understanding. It has been a challenging while. I and my team are working tirelessly to ensure that the challenges delaying the commencement of this great conference are successfully tackled.
Let me, at this point, remind us all the aims of the Student With A Goal and Vision (SWAG-V) Conference: to re-orientate the mindset of Nigerian students and other International students to know that they have parts to play in nation building; to discuss and agree on the importance of global education synergy; to create a new environment for parents, government and students agreement to foster an even understanding and adopt policies favourable to stimulate the growth of education in our country and the world at large.
The conference was organized in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Education and approved by the Federal Government in May 2014 to take place in December 2014 in Imo State. In the long run, we were asked by Federal Ministry of Education to reschedule the date of the conference due to some reasons which we related to you earlier.
The deadline was thereafter shifted to 25th January 2015 as the total number of applications received was about eighteen thousand (18,000). The organizing committee, out of the large number of applicants, found five hundred (500) fit to participate in the conference after a thorough screening that ended in April 2015.
The delay lingered and we had problem with some of our key sponsors like Globacom Nigeria, Diamond Bank and Juhel Pharmaceuticals.
Moreover, the change in government on May 29th contributed to our inability to host this conference before now.
With the current situation at hand, we plead that you great world changers remain steadfast and exercise more patience as the new date for the conference will be released very soon after confirmation of our new speakers, venue and accommodation for all successful applicants.
Once again, we thank you for your understanding and patience. We urge you all to keep hope alive as we will send the invitation letter across to qualified participants.

Hello Friends,

We are sorry for the silence for a long time due to some engagements, all for the good of the conference.

We are happy to inform you that the conference is coming up on the 4th and 5th day of September, 2015.

There shall be some changes as regard to the original plan but all will be for our good.

We have also decided to award to all participants in attendance as invited an Award as "ONE OF THE HUNDRED MOST INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE NIGERIAN STUDENTS 2015" , A membership Certificate of ASWANS and SWAG-V participatory Certificate.

An account Number and the venue of the conference will be written down in the invitation letter that will be send to qualified participants.

Remember that the Accreditation fee is still. #5000. All other things you need to know about the conference will be made open in the letter
