A few days ago in with the amiable Ambassador of to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Amb. Leena Pylvanainen.

Her dedication to her role at the embassy was made manifest with the way she attended to us. She took time to educate us about how the embassy is promoting bilateral trade relations between Nigeria and Finland.

She also told us fantastic stories about her country with a tiny population of about 5 million people. You can imagine a country with the same population like Imo State, my hometown.

I began to wonder how the current Finnish economy was built from proceeds from forestry: exports of wood, paper, and chemical pulp.

With large deposits of gas, crude oil, palm oil estates, etc, Imo State and other oil producing States in the Niger Delta region cannot even boast of the resources to take care of its people.

I don’t want to talk about Nigeria, as a country to avoid becoming emotional…

Anyway, as a good Nigerian, it is my prayer that the better tomorrow we seek for may come today.

May the Lord bless your hustles, today and always!
