This Hp Elitebook 820 G3 shorts circuit!!!
What happened? Now Pay attention!!!
A client brought this to my repair center, and he complained that he’s laptop refuses to turn on after using it.. he said “Last night I plugged my laptop and I was making use of it for some projects, I plugged the laptop and it was charging perfectly till the battery got charged(100%) I didn’t unplug it because my battery doesn’t last so after I was done with the project, i shutdown the system then reaching this morning i opened my PC and press the power button to turn it on, but it refuses coming up so I pressed the power button again to turn it on the second time, no sign of power so I thought that it might be that the battery might have rundown so I went and start my generator to power the laptop, I plugged my adapter charger to the laptop and I discovered that the adapter indicator light it blinking which it’s not suppose to be so, I was shocked so I decided to bring it to ict_doctorekene to take care of it and that’s how it happened he narrated” so I smiled after listening to his explanations and asked him some questions, I troubleshoot the Laptop and i discovered that the laptop charging ic Is heating up that is to say that it shorts circuit... Short-Circuiting of the Laptop: If the laptop is short-circuited (e.g., a short-circuit by the screw of the laptop's chassis), then the laptop won't be able to detect the presence of the power supply and thus won't turn on” after everything i fixed the error on the motherboard by resetting some microchip and changing the damaged charging ic.. if you have any issues concerning your laptop both hardware and softwares, Please do well to contact me
