VICTOR ANTAI STORMS HIS FAMILY AND VILLAGE IN CONSULTATIVE MEETING..also stops at all villages in Ebughu community to say 'thank you'.

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Rt Hon Victor Antai yesterday September 10, 2022 stormed his home town, Ebughu in Mbo Local Government Area to inform them of his mission to partner with Obong Akanimo Udofia as his deputy to occupy the Hilltop Mansion come 2023.

His first stop was at his family where he was well received. It was a thing of delight how the entire Eyo Antai family through their family head expressed their readiness to back the ATM crooner up with all their strength as election approaches. This was backed up with prayers and supplication offered for the success of the Akan/Victor project come 2023.

He proceeded to his village Oduo Ebughu. Victor Antai's visit saw villagers thronging in number to welcome their illustrious son. He was well received at the Palace of the village head who was physically present alongside his cabinet members. After reeling out the benefits that the people of Oduo stand to gain when APC takes over government in Akwa Ibom State, he urged them to be firm and resolute in their support.

Responding, the village head of Oduo, Ogbong Okon Uya appreciated Mr Antai whom he described as a true son of the soil for recognizing his root by coming to inform them of his aspiration. He declared that the people of Oduo Ebughu will fully back their own son come 2023 election. Again, prayers were offered for success and smoothness as the journey begins.

In all, Victor Antai's message was the same. "Come 2023, Obong Akanimo Udofia will accend the Hilltop Mansion as the governor of Akwa Ibom State. He has chosen me to partner with him as his Deputy. Together we will change the narratives and face of Akwa Ibom State. Please give us your absolute support in order to deliver in your mandate.".

The former Mbo LGA boss also expressed His appreciation to Obong Akan Udofia for finding him to be a worthy partner. He was also thankful to His Excellency, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio for pointing him towards the right path politically. His bulk of appreciation went to all his supporters who have stood by him over the years. He reassured them that better days are closer than envisaged.

As a way of saying 'thank you', Sir Antai took out time to visit all the component villages of Ebughu to show appreciation to them for their supports and love towards him and his aspiration especially for that of Thursday, September 8, where the villagers abandoned their homes and businesses to witness the formal presentation of Sir Victor Antai as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of APC by his Principal, Obong Akanimo Udofia.

Rt Hon Sir Victor Antai is a former two term chairman of Mbo Local Government Area, former commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and later that of Culture and Tourism who shook the tourism world with events such as Ñdoko Akwa Ibom, Ukapisua, Usoro Uso, Disé, Orange September etc. He is known for his grassroots mobilization prowess and perfectionist attribute.
