TODAY'S DAILY BREAD
26th of May 2026
Topic: GET UP
Text: Book of Judges 7:13–23
“And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped…” — Judges 7:15
Sometimes God allows us to hear just what we need to rise again. Gideon was afraid and uncertain, but when he heard the enemy speaking about the victory God had already planned, his faith came alive. Verse 15 shows a turning point: Gideon stopped doubting, worshipped God, and got up to lead.
When God speaks, fear must give way to action. Do not remain discouraged or defeated. Get up from fear, get up from delay, and get up from doubt. The same God who strengthened Gideon is able to strengthen you today. Your victory may be closer than you think.
Prayer:
Lord, help me rise above fear and trust Your word. Give me courage to move forward in faith and victory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TODAY'S DAILY BREAD 🍞 19th of May 2026
Topic: Fall by the Sword
Text: Leviticus 26:1–9
God told the children of Israel that obedience would bring peace, victory, and fruitfulness, but disobedience would open the door to destruction and they would “fall by the sword.” The sword represents defeat, fear, and the consequences of turning away from God.
Today, many people fall spiritually because they neglect God’s word, compromise with sin, or trust in their own strength. But God’s desire is not destruction His desire is restoration and blessing. In verses 3–9, He promised that if His people walk in His statutes, He would give them peace, favor, and victory over their enemies.
This passage reminds us that safety is found in obedience to God. When we stay close to Him, He fights our battles and preserves our lives.
Prayer:
Lord, keep me walking in obedience to Your word. Let me not fall by the sword of sin, temptation, or destruction. Give me victory and peace through Christ. Amen.

Topic:Blind From Birth
Text: The Gospel of John 9:1–12
A man who was blind from birth sat helpless by the roadside, but when Jesus saw him, everything changed. Many people looked at the blind man with judgment and questions, asking who had sinned. But Jesus looked at him with compassion and purpose. Sometimes people may focus on our weaknesses, failures, or delays, but God sees an opportunity to reveal His glory.
Jesus made clay, placed it on the man’s eyes, and told him to wash in the pool of Siloam. The man obeyed, and his sight was restored. His healing teaches us that obedience to God brings transformation. Even when we do not fully understand God’s process, we must trust His word.
The blind man’s condition did not stop God’s plan for his life. In the same way, no situation is too difficult for God to change. Jesus still opens blind eyes, restores hope, and gives new beginnings.
Jesus sees us even when others ignore us.
God can turn suffering into testimony.
Obedience to Christ brings healing and breakthrough.
Your present condition is not your final story.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, open my eyes to see Your purpose for my life. Turn every weakness and struggle into a testimony of Your glory. Help me to obey Your word completely and walk in Your light. Amen.
