*Summit Radio Gets Operating Licence*

In a landmark development towards the actualisation of the dream of broadcasting on radio, Summit Radio has been granted Short-term Restrictive Permit by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The news of the licence was well received by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Abiodun Musa Aibinu who expressed his appreciation to the leadership of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, particularly, the National President, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem SAN FCArb and the Deputy President, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Adebayo for their intervention in the processing of the licence.

The Vice-Chancellor noted that the contributions of various stakeholders such as the immediate past National President ADSN, Aare (Dr.) Abdul Rafiu Ademola Sanni; Chairman Board of Trustees, Engr. Nurudeen Adeagbo; Chairman of the Governing Council, Alhaji Rafiu Adisa Ebiti; t Artificial Intelligence for Females in STEMS (AI4FS) project funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK, (RAENG), Artificial Intelligence for Women in Aquaculture funded by the Gender for Responsive Artificial Intelligence Network (GRAIN) and others will not be forgotten.

The staff and students of the Mass Communication Department and the entire members of the University community also view the development with enthusiasm as the radio station prepares to commence test operations.
