AbdulMajeed rejoices with Governor AbdulRazaq For the Voice of Women’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has rejoiced with the Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum and Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his conferment of Lifetime Achievement Award during the 7th Voice Of Women conference’, noting it's a deserving award for his exemplary gender ballance, Inclusiveness of the Physically Challenged, Youth loving and meritorious service to the state.

He congratulated the number one citizen of Kwara State and Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum, saying this is yet another confirmation that his people-oriented governance is being monitored closely across the country and beyond.

"Voice Of Woman said it conferred Governor AbdulRazaq with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his unprecedented and Exemplary gender inclusiveness in his cabinet which remains the best in the history of the federation"

Recall that the Governor has till date led the achievement chart of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), while also conferred with the ‘He-for-She’ Award of Excellence’ by the former Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dame Pauline Tallen, among other several laurels.

In a congratulatory statement issued on Friday, October 27, Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed lauded the efforts and strides of Governor AbdulRazaq not only for his bold enforcement of fair representation and gender equality but also repositioning Kwara State after decades of mismanagement and maladministration by the previous handlers.

“On behalf of My Family, Friends and Political Associates, I congratulate our amiable Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for clinching the most coveted award of the Voice Of Women’s "Lifetime Achievement Award", We are happy to associate with a Governor whose major preoccupation is the masses and nothing more,” Abdulmajeed said.

He added: “from the beginning of his Administration till date, he has succeeded in changing the narratives in Kwara State across sectors. What's surprising however is that he has been doing all these in the face of an uncertain global economy, declining and unstable revenue and increasing social safety demands, starting from the biting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and other global and National menace which has resulted in huge economic shock across Nigeria and the world. Nonetheless, his presence is felt in education, economy, health, social investment, agriculture, critical infrastructure and other relevant sectors in the state.

“This administration has achieved the every local government impact reputation all through his time in office as there are significant and impactful government project presence felt in every single local government across the state.

Abdulmajeed mourns Offa APC member Alhaja Jumoke Balogun

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has joined family, friends and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa to mourn the demise of Alhaja Jumoke Balogun.

In a condolence statement issued by his media team on Friday, Abdulmajeed described the death as sad and touching.

According to him, “The late Alhaja Jumoke Balogun was a dedicated woman who had a strong sense of patriotism and tirelessly pursued development and change in her community.

"She was also a committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa. I recall her participation as a very active member of the Kwara South APC Mobilization Committee for the 2019 election under my chairmanship.

"The late Alhaja Jumoke made unquantifiable contributions to the actualization of our task as a Mobilization Committee member and party faithful. She will indeed be deeply missed,” Abdulmajeed added.

“I send my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, associates and the APC family in Offa. I pray Allah to forgive her shortcomings and admit her into Aljannah Firdaus.”
