DECREE FIFTY TWO
FRUITFULNESS IN CHRISTIANITY ( 11 ).
ABCD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRISTIANITY.
Practically JESUS left for every believer HIS teaching on Righteousness in HIS WORDS.Therefore the scripture says in Romans 1:16__17 that " I am not ashamey of the gospel of CHRIST for it is the power of GOD to salvation for every one who believes.........for in it the Righteousness of GOD is revealed from faith to faith as it is written the just shall live by faith". In Mathew 25:31__40 the LORD JESUS laid bare to the minutest details what is expected of the believer in terms of Righteousness, as well as the reward. Feed the hungry,quench their thirst , take in strangers and care for them, cloth the naked, visit the sick and care for them, as well those in the prisons.Doing all these is a straight ticket to eternal life in the kingdom of GOD. Meanwhile any one who does not live by these tenets are described as goats whose destination is damnation in hell fire. WHY? Because every act charity to the poor and the less previleged is actually done unto the LORD JESUS. However there is a caveat which must be observed. In Mathew 6:1__5, the LORD teaches that such acts of charity must be altruistic, selfless, and devoid of being done in the public glare for one to attract the corresponding blessings of the LORD. DECREE FIFTY.
THE ABCD OF RIGHTEUNESS IN CHRISTIANITY.
Apostle Paul teaching in Romans 3:21__25 says " The Righteousness of GOD apart from the law is revealed being witnessed by the law and Prophets; Even the Righteousness of GOD through Faith in JESUS CHRIST to all and one who believes; there is no difference; For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD; Being justified freely by HIS GRACE; through redemption that is in CHRIST JESUS. Whom GOD set forth as a propitiation by HIS BLOOD. through Faith to demonstrate HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS because of HIS forbearance."
From this scripture JESUS CHRIST is the bedrock of RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christianity. This is because the the Righteousness of GOD through Faith is revealed to every one who believe universally without distinction in HIM. Thus Grace of GOD in CHRIST JESUS freely justifies every believer through the redemption JESUS offers by the shedding of HIS BLOOD as a propitiation to cleanse from all unrighteousness. To access this righteousness is possible only by Faith and Belief in HIM. Therefore GOD holds up CHRIST unto humanity as a mirror to measure HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH. In Phillipians 3:9 the scripture says that Christian Righteousness is through Faith in CHRIST, which Righteousness is from GOD.In our foundation scripture we learn that Righteousness of GOD through Faith in CHRIST JESUS is revealed. This means therefore that it has existed before CHRIST era but GOD in HIS immeasurable grace chose to reveal it through CHRIST unto mankind.WHY? For the sake of HIS forbearance with regards to sin.The scriptures agree with this in that Hebrews11:7 says that " By Faith Noah being divinely warned of things not yet seen moved with godly fear, prepared an Ark for the saving of his house hold by which he condemned the world and became heir of the RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS ACCORDING TO FAITH."( To be continued.) DECREE FORTY THREE
FRUITFULNESS IN CHRISTIANITY (2 ) CONCLUSION.
Their response prompted the LORD to make a profound prophetic declaration affecting their entitlement to enter the Kingdom of GOD by stating that because they heard JOHN'S Message and refused to repent whereas tax collectors and harlots heard repented and therefore made it into the Kingdom of GOD before them. Meanwhile the LORD concluded the second Proverb similarly thus " THEREFORE I SAY TO YOU THE KIGDOM OF GOD WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOU AND GIVEN TO A NATION BEARING FRUITS OF IT." It is clear this that the Fruit of Repentance unto Redemption and Salvation would be a costly misadventure to be ignored or treated with disdain. In other words when grace beckons one must grab it swiftly and firmly. And having repented the believer must also be steadfast in faith because loss of focus may be very costly also. For instance a backslidden believer is counted as the worst enemy of JESUS .HEBREWS4:4__6 says thus" FOR IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO WERE ONCE ENLIGHTENED AND HAVE TASTED THE HEAVENLY GIFT AND HAVE BECOME PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HAVE TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF GOD ...........IF THEY FALL AWAY TO RENEW THEM AGAIN, TO REPENTANCE SINCE THEY CRUCIFY FOR THEMSELVES THE SON OF GOD AND PUT HIM TO OPEN SHAME." This is in parity with 2 PETER 2:20__22. The Fruit of Repentance lays upon the believer a fundamental necessity which can not be detracted from without dire consequences. SHALLOM!!!
