This is expansion valve it connects evaporator to the compressor and condenser through low pressure (Suction) pipe and liquid line pipe
Blockage of this pipe may leads to
1) Non cooling of Ac
2) Overheating to compressor
3) Burning of compressor plate, pulley and coil
