The Niger State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), in collaboration with the Centre for Communication and Reproductive Health Services (CCHRS), has successfully conducted a step-down training for school mentors on the Safe Space Life Skills Programme for adolescent girls across Niger State.
The training, which brought together selected school mentors from an additional 30 secondary schools, bringing it to a total of 195 schools currently implementing the program in the state, is aimed at strengthening the capacity of facilitators to effectively deliver structured life skills sessions within designated safe spaces.
The Safe Space Life Skills Programme is designed to equip adolescent girls with critical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their education, health, and personal development.
