Arm3d Robb3rs Trail Man From Bank, Sn**ch N10m, Car in Minna
Suspected armed robb3rs on Friday trailed a man from a third-generation bank in Minna, Niger State, and robb3d him of over N10m.
The incident occurred shortly after the victim reportedly received payment from a client. The attack3rs intercepted him along Shiroro Road in Minna, where they seized the cash and made away with his Toyota Camry.
The robb3rs, however, abandoned their own Toyota Corolla at the scene before fleeing with the victim’s vehicle.
During the incident, the victim reportedly recovered one of the rifles used by the suspects.
Confirming the development, the Niger State Police Command spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun, said the police had recovered the abandoned vehicle and the rifle.
He added that efforts were ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
