Qualifications:
1.A degree from a recognized institution, preferred major in creative writing or literature.
2. An avid reader of novels, both online and in hard copy, have own appetite in reading.
3. A deep knowledge of most genres in fiction and non-fiction, with a trained eye to easily classify these genres.
4. Proven editorial skills, with ability to improve the quality of manuscripts, and proficiency in Office software.
5. Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Knowledge of literature, publishing industry, active writers’ clubs and book clubs in the country. Work experience in an online reading platform or publishing industry is preferred.
7. Collaboration skills (team player), with ability to think creatively and design timely solutions that address the situation at hand.
8. Goal-oriented individual, able to complete tasks within the required timelines.
9.Fiction writing/ Experience in book reviews will be an added advantage, with a track record/portfolio.
