As part of psychosocial support, structured recreational activities were conducted for children, featuring creative block-building and group play.
The session encouraged creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and positive social interaction, helping children learn, connect, and express themselves in a safe and supportive space.
With the Support of OCHA Funds, these small moments of play is making a big difference in recovery and resilience.

Conflict and economic hardship continue to place immense pressure on women and girls in Gujba & Magumeri LGA of Yobe and Borno State, limiting their access to food, healthcare, education, and protection services.
Through the SCALE Project, Grow Strong Foundation (GSF) provided cash assistance to vulnerable women, girls, and survivors of violence, helping them meet urgent needs while restoring dignity, hope, and resilience.
This support is more than financial assistance, it is a lifeline that empowers women and girls to rebuild their lives and look toward a safer future.
We thank our OCHA Funds for making this impact possible.

Behind every humanitarian response is a team committed to showing up where they are needed most, often in challenging and unpredictable environments.
To strengthen their preparedness, members of our team participated in a three-day Hostile Environment Individual Security Training (HEIST) and Field First Aid Training facilitated by NRC. From emergency first aid and conflict de-escalation to security awareness and resilience-building, the training equipped participants with practical skills to protect themselves and others while serving vulnerable communities.
We celebrate our staff for their dedication to continuous learning and commend NRC - Norwegian Refugee Council for investing in the safety, confidence, and capacity of humanitarian workers.

Cholera outbreaks do not begin when the first case is reported, they begin when communities lack the information and resources needed to prevent them.
Recognizing the heightened risk across vulnerable communities in Borno State, Grow Strong Foundation (GSF) have been carying out cholera prevention sensitization and awareness campaigns across Mafa(Kaleri), Magumeri, Jere, MMC, and Bama LGAs ahead of the recent outbreak.
Through community engagement and health education, families were equipped with practical knowledge on safe hygiene practices, early warning signs, and prevention measures to protect themselves and their loved ones.
By empowering communities with the right information before a crisis escalates, we are helping to build healthier, safer, and more resilient communities.
