YOUNG PEOPLE ARE BETTER LEADERS

Young people are person who fall within the age bracket of 18 to 49 years and a leader is a person who lead or commands a group, organization or country.

Firstly, young people are vigorous and energetic. They can endure more pressure or stress than older people. Young people have the dynamism to take leadership task. For example, a young leader can supervise a given project himself as many times as possible without complaining of exhaustion. This is demonstrated by the previous and presence governors of Borno state his excellency the current vice president Kashim Shettima and His Excellency Prof Babagana Umara Zulum, when this governors Awards contract, they always visit the site to monitor and assess the level of progress made. This task will not be possible for an old age person because he or she has weak bones and can not stand the duty of such a task.

Secondly, the changing trade of world politics. politics is dynamic. The trade of world politics today has taken a new dimension, young people are elected into offices as president, governors, local government chairmen, including Executive Secretarys amongs others.

The current France president Emmanuel Macron is a young man with just 44 years who was elected for the second time to run the affairs of the country which is known as one of the best country in terms of development. My question is if a developed country like France can elect a young man as a president what more of developing countries.

Thirdly, young people are innovative. The world is becoming a global village and so innovation appears in all sphere of life. The knowledge acquired by old people and their thinking capacity has become outdated. Take for instance Executive secretary of Borno Geographic Information services Engr Adam Bukar Bababe who was a young person and has brought modern ideas on how the land sector to be normally sanitized and digitally transformed which has resulted in increased efficiency and transparency in land management.

I therefore strongly advocate for young people to be part of the government system
