If you love children like I do you will understand that every child is intrinsically different. The fact that the child can't solve mathematics at the age of 14 doesn't mean that child will be a failure.

What you should look out for in your children is how they relate with themselves and with others, how they question and analyse themselves and their surroundings, things that they are passionate about, what motivates them to act, what are their strength, and what are their fears.

You should be able to sit with your child especially if they are above 5years old and have these deep conversations. What you will discover about your kids will Interest you.

The West African Examinations council has released it's performance assessment by states for the year 2021 and Enugu state is number one in it's ranking while Zamfara state came last in the ranking.

A thing to note is that the Southwest states such as Ogun, Kwara, Oyo, Osun make up the last 10 states. It is a thing of worry that the Southwest of Nigeria known for its high academic standards is dropping further down the yearly ranking.

We use this medium to call on the South West Governor's and Educational stakeholders to look into this and make improvements while urging the rest of the states who are doing well to maintain the high standards they have set.
