NO NAILS AND NO BOLTS

I designed this beam and truss system with Sitka Spruce that we harvested off the shores of Alaska, and had specially milled for my project.

I only used splicing, seat cuts, and pe***ng to join the members. I designed the blue steel straps and pins to secure the main connection.

The entire truss and beam system is not bolted to the floor or foundation. Its own weight holds it in place, with one small knife plate at the base of each beam. No bolts.
