Notes;
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. If you can believe, all things are possible — including restoration. Everything becomes possible to the one who believes.

How Faith Works;
On one occasion, Jesus spoke to a fig tree. When the disciples later pointed out that the tree He cursed had withered, Jesus responded, “If thou shalt say to this mountain…”. This reveals that the faith of God at work in a believer creates endless possibilities.

1️⃣ Faith Works by Love – Galatians 5:6. The love of God does not discriminate. It embraces all, without favoritism or prejudice. The law of God operates through love. God’s kind of faith works by love. John 3:16 — For God so loved the world…

The love of God is the cornerstone of effective faith. Anyone who desires to exercise the God-kind of faith must learn to swim in the sea of love. To swim in that sea, you must cultivate sympathy, empathy, and action. Jesus was moved with compassion before He acted. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and comforted the weary. Compassion moved Him, and love powered His miracles.

You cannot exercise God’s kind of faith without love.

2️⃣ Faith Works by Speaking – 2 Corinthians 4:13. We cannot operate the God-kind of faith in silence. The Bible says, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.(Hebrews 11:3). The unseen word of God produced visible, tangible results.

Until you speak, power is not released. Speak the word of healing, speak restoration, speak abundance, speak peace.

Jesus said, “If you will say…”. Until you say it, the power in God’s word is not released. Consider the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings — her child was dead, yet she said, “It shall be well.” Faith speaks to finality.

Let no day pass without you declaring the written Word of God over your life.

3️⃣ Faith Works by Gratitude – Romans 4:19–20. Abraham was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

How is strong faith manifested? By giving glory to God — not only for what He has done but also for what He will do.

We give thanks not just for His gifts but because of His person — His faithfulness, His integrity, His unfailing promises.

Those for who nothing is working are not the ones to report it. If you can hang on to God, you will know that He makes all things beautiful in His own time.

If you want your faith to be effective, become a person of gratitude.

4️⃣ Faith Works Through Strategic Partnership. Sometimes, your faith needs the support of others to become effective.

In Acts 3:1–7, Peter held the lame man by the hand to complement his faith. There are moments when you need someone to hold your hand, speak over you, pray for you, or pray with you. That’s how the faith life is structured.

Galatians 6:2 — Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. In Acts 9:41, Peter gave Tabitha his hand and lifted her up — and she came back to life.

There will be times in your Christian journey when you will need others to hold you up. Even Jesus sought the prayers of His disciples in His moment of agony. Faith thrives in partnership.

✳️ Faith is a living force that works through love, confession, gratitude, and partnership. When we live by these principles, we experience the faithful restoration that Jesus promised — for indeed, all things are possible to him that believeth.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice & be glad in it.
