Just recently a lady wanted me procure goods for her from China.

She has done her calculations and then sent a message to me.

I gave her the bill for her goods and she went ahead questioning on what made mine expensive.

To cut long stories, she actually went to Google to get RMB (Chinese currency) rates for the day and calculated her goods prices with it.

Yes, the rates on google are cheaper, however that is not the rate at which we get it to buy goods.

Don't forget Google doesn't sell RMB.

RMB rates are based on Black market rates.

Therefore, before you make a purchase from China, ask your RMB exchanger "How much is RMB/Yuan today?" to avoid losses.
