God's Best Friends 🤗

Words Of Encouragement And Advice From Our Daddy E A Adeboye (Open Heavens Devotional)

If you really want to be God's best friends;

1. You must be INTERESTED in becoming one of God's best friends by STUDYING those who have been best friends with Him and do what they did (Eg Abraham, Moses, Peter, James and John). James 2:23.

2. FAITH is a major attribute required. Therefore, if you want to be one of God's best friends, YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE THAT MUCH FAITH IN GOD THAT YOU'LL BEGIN TO DO THINGS THAT WOULD MAKE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND GOD'S WAYS WONDER IF YOU'RE NORMAL. Romans 4:18-19, Hebrew 11:6.

3. Are you willing to be an INTERCESSOR, who always prays God's will into existence? You'll need to be selfless with your requests.

When praying, make it a habit with the burden to hear from God about what He wants to be done on earth and pray those things into existence.

Here, God will reveal to you what others don't know. Also, by your intercession, God will have the legal right to step into that situation. Matthew 6:10, 26:39.

4. Are you willing to be PRUNED, go through some intense DISCIPLINE and TESTS by God?

These occur at intervals and you must be willing to submit and be genuinely humble.

It's unfortunate only a few pass through these tests, being the conditions.

But with God, you can get through, becoming gratefully fruitful, and definitely, a good friend of God. John 15:1-5, 16, James 1:3-4, Philippians 4:13.
