What do you have lined up for you this week?

A sales pitch for potential clients or customers?
Meeting with investors?
Senior Management meeting?
Performance Review Meeting?
Interview with potential employer?

Board meeting?
Status update meeting?

Whatever meeting you have coming up soonest, it's not too late to start preparing ahead of time. Put your best foot forward. Do your homework. Practice, practice, practice.

Sales pitch or meeting with clients? Communicate the cost and benefit. Dwell more on the benefits. Share testimonials or product reviews. Don't over promise, be clear on terms and conditions, show genuine interest in helping the client get the best user experience, expatiate more on after-sale support, if any.

Would you require data/numbers to back up your claims? Then find it, generate it, spool it.
Do your research, review notes, analyze data, compare information, get your facts right.

Are you making a presentation?- Use appropriate tools- PowerPoint, Visio, slideshare, etc. Ensure it is well designed and error-free, use graphics, if possible. Keep it simple but make it captivating enough to grab attention.

Would it require one-on-one meeting (online or offline)? Dress up for the occasion. Speak fluently. Look well groomed and be ready to make a lasting impression that will clinch the deal.
