Come and buy what I'm selling

I have been working since 7:26am, I just finished cleaning up now. I'm about to go to the market to get some ingredients for my meat pie filling 😫 this job isn't for the weak.

A young lady came to me this morning ( a girl in her early 20s). I was already frying the last batch of egg rolls when she approached me, she greeted and I responded, I thought she was a customer due. She said she wanted to ask me a question, I told her to go ahead, she asked “ if someone comes to you and tells you that he or she is hungry, will you give that person snacks to eat?” I answered “no” she tried talking about the hardship in the country and I also gave her my reasons.
By this time last year I was totally broke, I was working in a school as a teacher, my salary was 50k, I have utility bill to pay, I have to save up for house rent, etc. I wasn't feeding well, I will go to school with 2 sachet water in the morning, then on my way back it's either I buy amala and soup worth 700 naira then buy extra eba for 200 naira or I buy beans and combine it with garri.
I wasn't feeding well but I never went on the street to start begging. I got help from sharing my business idea with someone I just met. Even when he offered to help, he told me that he will give me any amount I ask for but I am going to pay him back anytime I am ready. He did as he promised and when I wanted to pay him back he told me to keep the money.
Don't just sit there and expect help to fall from above, get up and work and watch God put you through.

Today, a young man came to buy some pastries from me, he asked if I sell drinks and I told him no but offered to help him get it from my neighbor. He went further to ask if I accept transfers I told him yes. He asked for 2 egg rolls which is 1k and I packaged them in nylons as usual. It was time for him to pay, he asked for my account number and proceeded to make the transfer, instantly he called my account names, I told him that was correct. He told me the transfer was successful and I asked him to show me the transaction details ( I don't have data to check my opay app) not to waste his time, I asked him to hotspot me so I could check my app, thank God he did, I checked my app and there was no money. Oga was still lying, I collected the egg rolls from him and he claimed it was network issue that he will be back. He left and he is yet to return.

This young man came to reap where he did not sow. Thank God I used my brain this time. If you are like this man, you better repent before you end up disgràcing yourself.

Students love very cheap stuffs and I don't make buns because of some reasons. These my doughnuts right here, is their favourite, once they are on their way back from school, they will patronize me. It's cute to watch these kids enjoy my products and buy more. A group of 4 girls just bought 1k doughnuts from me. I'm proud to say this very recipe was created by my humble self 😚

Customer: Ahh, e sweet abi, hope say the taste dey okay
Me: Yes, they are all nice
Customer: Wetin u wan talk before nah, u go promote your business nah
Me: Just buy u go confirm am
Am I supposed to give a bad review about my products. It's funny sha, but on a serious note, my pastries are really nice, no b chochocho

Sometimes last year, I wrote about how someone else had started selling pastries very close to me. Today, another person has started selling pastries too 😂😂. Guess what? I'm actually in their middle 😂😂
Anyways, I'm left with no other option than to be happy for myself. Let the works of my hands speak for me.
