Missing the nomination for this year stings a bit — especially as the first show I had the privilege of leading as Head Writer.

Not hung up on awards, but we all know what that spotlight can do.

Still, nothing but respect for everyone who poured their all into the project — "Wings" was an experience...we grow, we sharpen, we come back stronger.

And to all the nominees, well deserved. The grind goes on.
