St. Robert’s Catholic Church, Yaba Celebrates Children’s Day in Grand Style | 31st May 2026

St. Robert’s Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos, joyfully celebrated Children’s Day with a vibrant display of talents from the children of the parish.

The event was opened with a prayer by the Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Alfred, setting a blessed tone for the celebration. The parish family later came together to cut the Children’s Day cake in a moment of unity and joy.

The celebration was graced by the presence of Nollywood actress _Comfort Ene Ikwumonu_, popularly known as _Empress Ene_, who was highly honoured and recognized for her support and inspiration to the children.

It was a day filled with laughter, music, dance, and the shining talents of our young ones. The Parish Priest, Lt. Col. Rev. Fr. C.V. Obidike, thanked God for the gift of children, prayed for His continued guidance and protection over them, and joined the children to cut the cake.
