I’d like to share a special moment from last week — we attended my niece’s graduation in Dallas,

Her father, a doctor himself, had the honour of robing her — such a beautiful and symbolic passing of the baton. Please read Pastor Charles. reflections on this memorable occasion.

May rejoicing never depart from our households, and may every generation rise higher and do greater things than the one before, in Jesus’ name.

Moments.
Life, in many ways, is ultimately the accumulation of moments.

Fleeting. Sacred. Defining moments that appear briefly, then pass into memory — yet somehow shape destinies forever.

You blink, and sometimes the moment is gone forever.

That is why we must learn to be attentive to life. Present. Fully awake to the beauty of what is unfolding before us.

Recently, I had the rare privilege of witnessing one of those extraordinary moments that transcend ordinary human experience — a truly transgenerational moment.

Today, Ruth Adedayo Olatunji became a medical doctor.

But beyond the degree, beyond the ceremony, beyond the applause, there was something far deeper and profoundly moving: her father, Dr. Bola Olatunji, stood on the stage to robe his daughter into the very profession he himself had walked for years.
Pause and think about that.

A father welcoming his daughter into medicine.

In that singular moment, decades converged. Sacrifices found meaning. Struggles became legacy. The labour of one generation stretched beyond itself and found continuity in the next.

That is more than success. That is transcendence.
Some moments are historic. Some are monumental. Some are seminal. Some are deeply defining.

This was all of them.

It was the kind of moment that reminds us that true wealth is not merely what we achieve, but what we successfully transfer — values, vision, excellence, discipline, grace and purpose — into those coming after us.

Memories are not made in years. They are made in moments.

And this was one of those unforgettable moments that heaven itself must surely smile upon.
I feel deeply privileged to have witnessed it.

Congratulations !

To my dear Mum,Thank you for showing us what resilience, faith, humility, and lifelong growth truly look like.

Thank you for teaching us that no matter how hard life gets, the most important thing is never to give up. You still wake up every morning with strength, grace, and purpose, always showing up for God, for family, and for everyone around you.

At 86, while many people are slowing down, you are still excited about learning new things. I smiled when you told me how disappointed you were that entries had already closed for the AI video editing course you wanted to join. That moment said everything about who you are — curious, courageous, forward-thinking, and always ready for a new challenge. You approach technology and social media with the enthusiasm of a young prodigy, and it inspires all of us.

You are deeply spiritual, God-fearing, wise, and full of compassion. You lead with excellence yet somehow still make time for everyone. You have friends across every generation because your warmth, humour, wisdom, and kindness make people feel seen and loved.

We love you so much, Mum, and we are endlessly grateful for the blessing you are to all of us.
“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the precious gift of our mother. Continue to strengthen her, fill her with joy, peace, and good health, and reward her for every seed of love she has sown into so many lives. May her latter years be filled with laughter, purpose, favour, and the deep knowledge that she is cherished beyond words. Let her continue to flourish in Your presence and inspire generations to come. Amen.
Happy American Mother’s Day ❤️
