It’s not possible.”

That was what I was told when I first considered mushroom cultivation.

But I believed otherwise.

I ventured into it, with little support but strong conviction.

Today, not only did it work, my parents were the very ones who doubted were the first to enjoy the harvest.

This experience taught me something profound:

🔹 Everyone has opinions: shaped by their past, fears, or what society has told them.

🔹 But you owe it to yourself to be discerning to separate truth from noise.

🔹 Because while society may judge you by what you have, your mind will judge you by what you did.

So, here’s my charge to you:

Be open-minded, but not easily swayed.

Be humble, but not easily discouraged.

Be diligent because there’s a blessing in it.

Your dream doesn’t need approval to become valid.

It just needs your bold action.

What I’ve Learned About Business: The Hard Way.

For the longest time, I thought starting a business was simple:

✔ Solve a problem
✔ Create a product or service
✔ Offer value and get paid

Whether it’s digital products, physical goods, consulting, freelancing, or even content creation — I believed that was it.

Well... I was wrong.
That’s just the foundation.

Here’s the part no one emphasizes enough:

Understanding & Segmenting Your Audience

It’s not enough to “have a target market.”
You need to define who exactly you’re speaking to with laser precision.

Not everyone is your customer. In fact, a smaller, well-defined subset of people is more powerful than a vague, general crowd.

Example: Instead of starting a business that helps people with mental disabilities (a large group), focus on helping mentally disabled people with sickle cell, that’s a niche, but impactful.

So if you're planning to start a business in 2025 (or thinking of revamping your current one), here's my advice:

Take time to study and segment your audience.

It’s not optional, it’s the core of every successful, scalable business.

The clearer you are about who you serve, the easier it is to serve them well and grow.
