Being an Eye Specialist I have seen a lot and ofcourse I have heard a lot.

One of patient who had mature cataract and was booked for surgery. But momma told us that we should hold on the procedure that her son in UK sent her some medications that will clear the cataract, we should give her atleast one month that by the time she will come back everything will be gone.

That’s by the way, it’s 8 months now, mama is back, the cataract is even more matured and her vision has dropped from counter finger to light perception.
🚫 cataract is simply opacification of the crystalline lens in the eye that leads to poor and cloudy vidion( harmattan vision)
This is often related to ageing, trauma and another.
Treatment is Surgery, except it’s immature then glasses can help to improve the vision temporarily.

🚫Drugs dont clear cataracts, but can be used as a relieving agent.

Please if you have any of your aged parents, encourage them to go for their treatments.
