Africa must never become a continent where Africans live in fear of fellow Africans.

I strongly condemn the brutal acts of xenophobia and violence against foreign nationals in South Africa. No human being deserves to be attacked, humiliated, or killed because of their nationality. Violence is never the answer to economic hardship, unemployment, or political frustration.

Our strength as Africans has always been our unity, resilience, and shared history. We fought against oppression together, and we must continue to stand together today. Let us reject hate, reject division, and embrace the spirit of Ubuntu—the belief that "I am because we are."

My thoughts and prayers are with every victim, every family that has lost a loved one, and everyone living in fear. May justice prevail, peace be restored, and may love overcome hatred.

We are one Africa. Let's protect one another, not destroy one another.
