A Toxicologist that operates a snake farm which harbours 4,700,000 snakes in Nasarawa State shared this 👇

He provided the following information on the things that attract snakes to the house as:

1) Egg shells can attract snakes 15 kilometers away.

2) Chickens

3) Rats

4) Frogs

And whatever it can swallow.

All snakes are poisonous except python.

But the speed of the circulation and strength of the poison differ.

Tying a bandage or tourniquet around snake bite causes swelling and can paralyze the part of the body bitten by the snake.

Trekking after a snake bite increases the rate/speed of circulation of the poison which can result to death.

Drinking cold water from the fridge slows down the flow of the poison.

Being calm and reducing movement helps.

Chewing pawpaw leaf and swallowing the liquid stops the flow of snake poison till treatment is received.

If a snake spits its deadly venom into the eye, it can be treated if the victim seeks help on time.

But if the venom enters the nose, the victim can die in a matter of minutes.

But more dangerous than snake is wall Gecko. It is deadlier than snake.

If it leaks a tooth brush and someone uses the brush to clean teeth without washing it first, the person will die.

The s**t can kill. So cover your pot and water containers.

“Working in the dairy industry changes the way you shop for milk and milk products. You stop looking at the pretty packaging and start paying attention to the labels.

Most of us grew up thinking milk is just milk, but once you’ve seen the production side, you realize that many popular brands are selling reconstituted by-products. Much of what we buy as cream or milk powder is actually whey (the left over after milk fat has been removed). To make it look and feel like milk again, it is often fortified with vegetable oils and stabilizers.

If you want to taste the freshness of real mil, look for "Whole Milk" or "Fresh Milk" on the ingredient list. The difference is not just in the nutrients...the taste is incomparable. Real dairy has a richness and freshness that vegetable-oil substitutes simply can’t replicate.

Whenever I'm buying yoghurt, my choices are very limited because I know who is using fresh milk and who is using powder.”

There's no morning that I ever leave my house without going through the newspapers. It's an addiction. I read all of you. It might not be in full detail, but headline – the one that would hit me and the ones that won't.....We’ve opened up the principle of federalism to the extent that local governments are now getting their money, but how they use it is in your hands. So, don’t bombard me alone.

Her real name was Ada Ocha Ntu, but the Nigerian woman she was popularly known as Esther Johnson.

However, Esther got sympathy across the country and beyond for a reason.

She had reportedly given Hall her savings of £400 to purchase a car for her before he went on leave to England. When Hall returned, he told Esther that he had used the money to marry an English bride and to buy the new bride a car instead.

She was arrested and taken to court. Through her lawyer, Esther hinged her defence on prøvocation and argued that the k!ll!ng occurred during a heated argument after Hall returned and cønfessed, with reports suggesting she acted in self-defence during a physical altercat!on.

At the end of the case on June 18, 1953, Esther was found gu!lty of mūrd€r and sentenced to dæth and taken to Broad Street Prison in Lagos.

However, following mass sympathy and reactions from the public, her sentence was commuted to life impr!sønment. Then, on October 1, 1961, during the first anniversary of Nigeria's independence, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, then Governor-General, granted her pardon.

After serving about 433 weeks in pr!søn, she was released. Then, she wedded a police officer, Mr. Joshua Ayeni on April 23, 1964.

The Esther Johnson case became a symbol of nationalist sentiment against colonial authorities. A bar was even named "Esther's Rēvenge" at the Broad Street (Freedom Park area of Lagos) in remembrance of the case.

Lenacapavir, a twice-yearly injection providing protection against HIV, is now available in Nigeria, priced at ₦58,000.

Lenacapavir is a revolutionary HIV prevention injection.

One shot every six months.

It is 100% effective in preventing HIV, even when you have unprotected s*x with an HIV carrier.

What makes this special is that there are no daily pills and no forgetting doses.

Just two injections per year and you’re fully protected.

Even if you’re in a relationship with someone HIV-positive or in high-risk situations, this injection protects you completely.

The cost is ₦45 million per year in America and ₦58,000 in Nigeria.

The reason why it is cheaper for Nigerians is that it is being subsidized by non-profit organizations like Bill Gate foundation, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Unitaid, and Wits RHI, which assist in managing the costs and distribution.

The beauty of science.

So, this lady in question Sarah, shared her grape story with me. She was first graped by her own father, which resulted in the birth of a boy. As if that wasn't enough, her own uncle graped her two years ago and she fell pregnant for her last child.

I don't even know what to say, but please... I don't think it's right to keep a child resulting from grape. You'll hate that kid for the rest of your life. Nobody is praying for anyone to get graped, but if it results in you falling pregnant, don't keep it.

She narrated to me how she so much dislikes her children, especially the boy who looks just like her own biological father. How some men can comfortably do this, baffles me! Not just to any random person, but your biological daughter? Tufiakwa!
