Setting boundaries with your adult children can be tough sometimes, but author Allison Bottke shares 6 steps to provide hope and healing for struggling parents. She explains that many parents find themselves on what she calls a "gerbil wheel of insanity." This "gerbil wheel" can include enabling adult children to continue in sometimes harmful activities, or maybe providing financial support for adult children who can provide for themselves.

She encourages parents who may have become trapped in a cycle with an adult child who is experiencing failure to launch to jump off the "gerbil wheel" with a few steps she has used herself.
