“Run on your ability, not on someone else’s.”

In a world where everyone seems to be doing something big, it’s tempting to measure your worth by what others are achieving, and to be sincere with yourself this sometimes are painful.

You will notice that after looking at someone else’s pace, talent, or success and wonder you start asking yourself “Shouldn't I be doing more?”

But here’s the truth: you’re not here to run their race. You have your own with your kits. You can learn how you can use the kits if similar from others but you can equally watch out for your own way to use them uniquely.

You’re here to run yours based on your own strength, your own rhythm, and your own ability.

Every person’s journey is different. Some people start with more. Some move faster. Some take routes you can’t see. And that’s okay. What matters is that you show up for your lane with everything you have. Not what they have. Not what you wish you had. What you’ve actually got. Believe me, I have a reason to put this out to you.

Running on someone else’s ability is like driving a car using someone else’s fuel gauge, it doesn’t work. You’ll either burn out trying to keep up, or miss out on the power you already carry.

There’s peace and power in knowing your lane, owning your gift, and running your race with authenticity. Not slower. Not faster. Just true.

So, breathe. Stop comparing. Start trusting. You’re not behind—you’re becoming. And your ability is enough for where you’re headed.

Lastly, this piece is not for you to be lazy but for you to do something with what you have until what you have increases to now do more efficiently and effectively. increase.

I really do love growth, seeing each other growing together. Have a nice day😘

Let’s be honest—life as a young adult can feel like a race no one fully explained. Everyone seems to be sprinting: building careers, starting businesses, getting degrees, making money, finding love. And it’s easy to feel like you’re behind.

But here’s the thing: not every part of the journey is meant to be fast.

A smart runner doesn’t sprint the whole race. They speed up when the time is right—and slow down when they need to breathe, recover, or just figure out where they are. That’s not laziness. That’s a strategy.

And you? You’re allowed to do the same.

There will be seasons where you’re grinding hard—late nights, big risks, non-stop effort. But there will also be seasons where slowing down is necessary. To reflect. To heal. To realign. And both seasons are valid. Both are part of the process.

Don’t let social media or outside pressure rush you. Your pace is your own. And knowing when to push—and when to pause—is a sign of wisdom, not weakness.

So take your time. Catch your breath when you need to. Trust your pace. Life isn't a race to finish fast. It’s a journey to finish well—with purpose, peace, and growth along the way.

"A runner knows when to run fast and when to slow down."

“You can walk fast walking alone, but you can’t go far alone.”

It’s true—when you’re on your own, things move quickly. No one slows you down. You don’t have to explain your choices or wait for anyone to catch up. You just go. And in the short term, that can feel empowering.

But as the road stretches out and the journey gets tougher, being alone starts to feel heavy. You begin to realize that moving fast isn’t the same as making progress that lasts.

This quote is a quiet reminder: we might get ahead on our own, but we can’t do everything alone. Not if we want to go the distance.

Life—real life—requires people. Friends. Mentors. Teammates. Support systems. The ones who walk beside us, challenge us, lift us when we’re tired, and remind us we’re not in this alone.

Walking together might be slower, yes. But it’s stronger. It’s steadier. And in the long run, it gets us farther than we ever could’ve gone alone.

So if you’re dreaming big, building something meaningful, or just trying to keep going—don’t be afraid to lean on others. The journey is better that way.
