On May 7th, 2024, the Corporate Affairs Commission directed all POS operators to register their businesses by July 7th. Failure to do so will result in the deactivation of POS machines and other complications.

Many operators took this lightly and delayed registration until just before the deadline, which led to unnecessary pressure on their CAC agents.

At least 50% of POS operators could have faced penalties, but thankfully, the Corporate Affairs Commission extended the deadline to September 5th, allowing everyone more time to register their businesses.

However, many business owners are still waiting until the last minute to act, which will put pressure on their agents once again.

I advise you to register your business as soon as possible. This time, there may not be any further extensions.
