MASS RETURN: 315 Nigerians 🇳🇬 Flee South Africa, Land in Lagos Wednesday ✈️

The Federal Government has concluded plans for the final evacuation of 315 Nigerians strandéd in South Africa following recent security concerns and xenøphobic attâcks.

The Air Peace flight will depart Johannesburg and arrive at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, marking the final phase of a five-stage evacuation exercise.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to protecting Nigerians abroad and thanked all stakeholders who made the safe return possible.
