Adonijah’s request for Abishag looked harmless.

Solomon knew better.

It was not romance. It was a quiet claim to the throne.

Many leaders pacify rebels, honour the loud, and ignore the loyal.

Then everyone learns the wrong lesson: noise gets rewarded, faithfulness gets overlooked.

Leadership requires mercy, but mercy without wisdom can strengthen rebellion.

What you celebrate, you reproduce.

Do not train your team to whine.

Train them to serve.

Leadership is not proven by titles, comfort, or applause. It is proven by faith, patience, courage, and a willingness to take on hard assignments. In Leadership the Bible Way, Part Three, we look at Caleb’s bold request: “Give me this mountain.” At eighty-five, he was still ready to trust God, face giants, and claim what had been promised. His example shows that strong leaders do not shrink back because of age, delay, or difficulty. They stay full of faith and move forward when others hold back. This piece will challenge you to lead with conviction, endurance, and complete dependence on God.
