The manger was a statement. It said, 'Your systems, your palaces, your pride, your religion—I will not start there. I will start with what you ignore, despise, or deem insignificant. I am born in the place where you feed your animals to show that I have come to nurture and feed humanity. Your heart is the manger where Jesus seek to be birthed. Allow him to be born in your heart. Christmas is not about present but purpose.
