I'm quite passionate about the creative industry in Africa so I'm always enthused to discuss and share knowledge in public.

I got talking with a number of very talented young Africans at the ECHO Music Conference 2019 in Lagos alongside a good friend - who handles Strategic Partnerships at Instagram.

I'm at the Africa CEO Forum, holding in Kigali, Rwanda.

Some key points from Day 1:

·Africa needs 1.7 new jobs every month.

·We need visionaries in new markets to develop the private sectors, driven by trade.

·We need pragmatic people who can drive this initiative.

·We need to support more African women in business.

One more thing - Dear Nigeria, are we considering signing the African Continental Free Trade Agreement?

What plans, in Africa, have we put in place to prepare us for the Fourth Industrial Revolution? What are the areas of acceleration?

So many questions discussed at a World Economic Forum workshop I recently attended.

Innovation is one key area we have to constantly improve on and that means a lot of effort needs to be put into public-private sector collaboration.
