One of the most common questions international students ask is: “Can I change schools after getting my study permit?"
The short answer is yes, but there are important rules you need to follow.
If you're already in Canada and decide to transfer to another Designated Learning Institution (DLI), you have to submit a new application to your school but when it comes to changing a programme within the same school you must update your information with IRCC and ensure you continue meeting the conditions of your study permit.
