Today I'll be talking about FABRIC TEXTURE: How to know a quality fabric/clothes
FABRIC TEXTURE
in Bangladesh, they make use of GSM ( gram Per Square Meter)
This is the metric measurements of the weight of the fabric
The higher the GSM, the higher the quality of the fabric
*For example* : 100-110 fabric will not be so thick
And will wash after being worn a few times
But 120-150 will be thicker that the aforementioned
While 200 GSM will be thicker compared to the above own
So if you want to know how thick a fabric is, just check the GSM
That's all you need to know about fabric texture โ

WHY YOU SHOULD BUY FROM BANGLADESH
1. BANGLADESH is the second largest producing garment country after China
2. They produce quality but cheap products
3. They produce for European countries that's why you can get Gucci, Burberry, Versace etc
4. Their exchange rate is cheap and affordable
5. Scam free: they offer pay on delivery and you get to inspect your goods before it leaves Bangladesh
(So no what I ordered versus what I got)
6. Easy sourcing : you don't need a translation app
You get to message your supplier on WhatsApp
With my experience with Bangladesh, I have never gotten what I order vs what I got. Because you get to inspect your goods before they ship it
I'll be stopping here today, tomorrow I'll be talking about "HOW TO BUY FROM BANGLADESH"
Don't miss it !

Hey Worldclass โจ
Welcome back to our series on Bangladesh Importation
Yesterday,I talked about Bangladesh, what they do/sell and products you can get in Bangladesh.
So today I'll be talking about "Bangladesh currency" and others things you need to know.
-----------------------
-----------------------
LET'S TALK ABOUT BANGLADESH CURRENCY:
*BANGLADESH CURRENCY*
BANGLADESH CURRENCY is know as _TAKA_, just like we have naira, pounds dollar for different countries.
And one Taka is not upto *15 Naira*.
I'm sure might be saying, what of shipping fee.๐
That will take me to the next lesson outline which is *SHIPPING*.
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
You can either ship from Bangladesh through sea or Air just like China importation.
Air shipping takes just *7-10 days to arrive to Nigeria after* placing order,
While Sea shipping takes 2-3 months and it is measured in bag not CMB unlike china (The bag looks like a garri bag)
And the cost of shipping from Bangladesh is so so cheap
Air shipping of 1kg is not more than $6.5 unlike china
So like I said earlier, their sea shipping is measured in bag and not CMB, and in this bag, you can find 200-350 adults clothes in it depending the type of clothes you bought.
And if it's kids wears, you can get up to 450 kiddies wears.
And the shipping cost for a full bag like this is around #80,000- #90,000 (it was #80,000 as at January)
You can calculate it
80k รท 350 or 450 pieces of clothes
That means the shipping fee of one cloth is not up to 1k sef
*NOTE:* if you won't be buying upto a whole bag, don't use sea shipping because they will still calculate it using the price of the full bag
Except if you want to share with another vendor
-------------------------------
I'll stop here today. Tomorrow, I'll talk about how to know fabric texture โ

Today, I'll be talking about specific countries that offers great opportunities for mini importers: BANGLADESH
*Bangladesh* ๐ง๐ฉ is the home of Apparels, textiles, fabrics, stock jeans and designer wears....infact they are the ones who produce for American and European countries that's why you can get Zara, Gucci, Burberry and other branded wears in Bangladesh.
*Bangladesh* is known for their quality production and their cheap labour, so this is what makes Bangladesh the best option when it comes to getting high price branded wears at a lower price.
You can get your branded and unbranded unisex wears in Bangladesh, you can also get kiddies wears and even underwears, socks, fez cap in Bangladesh.
(Check comment section for image of some clothes you can get from Bangladesh)
Bangladesh does not only sell sewed clothes, can get other fabrics/textiles too there, like materials, duvet, rug etc.
Bangladesh sells other stuffs like medicine, ceramics etc but they are not really known for it.
I'll stop here today.
Tomorrow I'll be talking about Bangladesh currency and shipping

Today, I'll be wrapping up my Mini Importation series. Last time, I talked about how to place an order and make payments. Now, let's dive into the next steps:
STEP 5: ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐จ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ(๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ด) :
In mini importation, there are two ways to deliver products:
1. Air shipping: It's fast because the items are sent by airplane.
2. Sea shipping: It's slower, taking between 20 to 60 days, but it can increase profits.
STEP 6: ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐๐ก๐
Now that everything is ready and you know your products are on the way, start marketing them before they arrive. Here are some ways to do it:
1. Social media marketing: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.
2. Physical Marketing (world of mouth )
3. Ecommerce websites like Jumia,Konga,jiji.com etc
-----------
-----------
Much has been talked about the mini importation business. As a beginner, start with affordable products that sell easily, so you can quickly make a profit.
Alternatively, you can use "Preorder". Share pictures of interesting products from the platforms/manufacturers you use and post them on your page with your price (cost price + your profit) for customers to preorder. When your customer pays you, you remove your profit from the money then send the cost price to the supplier.
------------
------------
๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ค:
โข If you will like to go into the clothing business, I'll recommend you buy from Bangladesh because their currency is very cheap compared to china and other countries. Their currency (TAKA) is less than 15 Naira
Stay tuned for my next post where I'll be talking more on importation from Bangladesh.

STEP 2: PLATFORM TO BUY:
After deciding what to import, the next step is finding a place to buy your goods. Here are some recommended marketplaces where you can buy directly from the manufacturer at a low wholesale price.
1. AliExpress.com
2. 1688.com
3. Alibaba.com
4. Amazon.com
STEP 3: FIND A RELIABLE SUPPLIER/MANUFACTURER:
A reliable supplier is very important for your mini importation business. You don't want to work with a supplier who has poor communication or takes a long time to respond.
To avoid getting frustrated by a bad supplier, make sure you carefully choose a reliable one.
Here's how you can do it:
1. Check the reviews from other customers who have bought from the suppliers on the eCommerce site you want to use, and then make your decision.
2. Since you'll be buying goods from other countries, make sure your supplier understands and can speak English.
3. Check if the supplier has been in business for a long time or just started recently.
4. See if the supplier answers questions quickly.
STEP 4: PLACE AN ORDER AND MAKE PAYMENT
This is another important step in your mini importation process, and that's why you need a trustworthy supplier. After deciding on the products to buy and finding a good supplier, place your order and pay for the items.
You can pay with your local bank account or a dollar account. Make sure the seller confirms the payment and tells you when your order will be shipped. Keep track of the prices in your local currency and also note details like color, type, size, minimum order, weight, and more for the items.
This will take me to the next step which is "PRODUCTS DELIVERY ( Shipping)"
And that will be discussed tomorrow
I'll wrap up today's Mini Importation posts here. But don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow to reveal more insights and secrets. Make sure to follow my page so you don't miss out on the rest of this series.
