While there is no right or wrong age to get married, it can be tempting to want to want to move the timeline up if you are over the age of 30. But don’t rush into marriage because you are above 30, the PAIN of marrying the wrong person is much worse than the FEAR of not getting married before 30.

Marriage is huge decision and getting it wrong can have effects that last for years or life time(when children are involved between the two). Life changes drastically when you get married and each person comes with their own set of challenges, expectations, and demands. Just because you are a certain age doesn’t mean that you have to settle for anyone unless you are sure.

Finding the right person takes time and research. Take your time and get to know the person you are considering for marriage. Know their likes, dislikes, and how they handle everyday problem. Spend time to ensure that you are compatible with your potential spouse and that they are good fit for your life.

Consider the potential challenges that marriage brings. Do they want children? If so, are you both on thesame page with how they want to raise them? Are you both willing to support each other emotionally, financially and physically? If you are unsure or uncomfortable with the answers to any with the any of these questions, it is better to wait until you are sure…
