Tyla Triumphs As Burna Boy, Wizkid And Rema Miss Out On Major Award

South African music star Tyla has added another international recognition to her growing career after emerging winner in the Afrobeats category at the 2026 American Music Awards.

Tyla defeated top African stars including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema and MOLIY to clinch the award for Best Afrobeats Artist at the ceremony held in Las Vegas.
