According to Thomas Erikson, these people are often called the Blues 🔵 — the perfectionists.

Let me tell you a short story.

I once had a close friend—let’s call him Po. We talked about everything. One day, I shared a business idea with him and invited him to start it with me.

I explained the vision, the plan, the possibilities.
His response?

“If we don’t have this particular gadget, I don’t think it will work.”

Mind you, we already had many other things in place. Just one item was missing—the gadget I didn’t have at the time.

I tried to encourage him. I told him we could start and grow into it. But he kept saying no.
To him, that one missing item was everything.

Back then, I didn’t know about personality types or “blue people.”
So I simply said, fine, and I started anyway—with the challenges.

Here’s the lesson 👇🏽
When you meet a melancholy—or you marry one—abeg, build inner strength 😄.
Their perfectionist nature can be tiring, yes.

But hear this:
Most blue people are full of ideas, deep thinkers, sharp, and clear-minded.
They can drive you forward in ways you may never see yourself.

They are not your enemies.
You need blue people just as much as you need every other temperament.

Learning about people helps you understand who you are, who others are, and where you’re going.

And that knowledge?
It saves relationships, businesses, and time.
