Five Reasons Why you must have a Career Vision

1) Defines your path: Have you ever met someone who knows they are in the wrong job but still continue because it's too late to change paths and start all over again? Having a clear vision clears a path for you in your industry. Your journey to success becomes a straight path with obstacles figured out and removed instead of a zig-zag.

2) Gives clarity to your purpose: There are times when you will lose interest in your work and feel frustrated with it to the point of quitting. Knowing your 'Why' - the reason behind your purpose will fuel you with renewed vigor to get through any moment of hardship.

3) Keeps you focused: Many people make the mistake of taking any job they feel will suit their finances without knowing the implications of it.

A career vision will help you plan your life and give you a targeted timeline to achieve it. It will also eliminate distractions disguised as opportunity. For instance, taking the job role of a sales manager will not help your aim of becoming a Chief Finance officer.
