I look back now, and simply wonder “how???”

The dogged audacity!

Amidst juggling an intense full-time corporate job as Group Head, Marketing Corporate Communications & Brand Management ; with FULLER-Time 24/7 Mama & Wifey duties - I chose to birth Ginger Tapas & Grill. Apparently, way ahead of its (and my) time…☺️😊😘

Since then, every brand anniversary; from the defunct restaurant, to the ever-evolving transformative Hospitality entity that is Ginger Soul Lifestyle Co - is a PINKRocks celebration. In various expressions.

12 years of Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Advocacy and Fundraising, under the Ginger Hospitality brand. Plus pile on the prior (interrupted) decade of Pinkfest philanthropy, partnerships, volunteerism with the then Nattie’s Catering and Events Management Company, in ATL…

It’s an ongoing journey in tender, determined, committed, altruistic personal ode to my late mother whom we lost October 8, 1996 - 29 years ago. Still, just like yesterday.🥲

To every woman living with Breast, any cancer, and/or in remission - Salute! Please know that we ARE with you in this battle, even if only from a distance; with collective drops of steadfast activities, and whispered prayers.

To all our dearly departed souls via this awful scourge; though thankfully - increasingly curable, rest in eternal perfect peace.🙏🏾

To my darling irreplaceable Mum. It’s still@all surreal, yet now your graceful impact is also increasingly felt, and the most soothing balm lately…
