Severe malaria is a medical emergency that should be treated urgently and aggressively. It arises as a result of poorly treated malaria and as much as we love emergencies, prevention is still better than cure.

So today, we join the in pledging to continually play our role in highlighting the need for continued investment and political commitment for malaria prevention and control.
