The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs Alumnae Association (AWEAA) is showcasing its growth and success as 16 of its members prepare to exhibit at the Fidelity International Trade & Creative Connect (FITCC). These accomplished women entrepreneurs have been making strides in various innovative businesses, emphasizing sustainability and cultural preservation.

Each entrepreneur presents a unique journey and contribution. For instance, Adebisi Odeleye's Moore Organics creates skincare products from ethically sourced African botanicals. Funmi Adeniyi's Body Pantry International promotes sustainable fabric manufacturing. Juliet Obi's House of Ebony combines African culture with fashion, while Oluwayemisi Adesina's Agricbuiz Without Borders provides agricultural training and consultancy. Ata Ashiru's Inkhearts Studio excels in luxury stationery design, and Winniefred Uwujele's Winniecense Fragrance focuses on hypoallergenic scents.

Additionally, Oluwatoyin Issah's Beadsworld Accessories and Fashion produces high-quality fashion accessories, while Halima Umaru's Kurux Crunchies creates indigenous, healthy snacks. Oluwayemisi Oguh offers raw Shea butter and cocoa butter through Demamy Concepts Limited, and Firo Elhassan operates Laalfi Farms, focusing on processed fruits and vegetables. Veronica Obende's Ronnid Outfitters offers authentic, African-inspired clothing.

Other exhibitors include Oluwatosin Sodimu, who crafts sustainable stainless steel jewelry at Hannah Ephraim Jewellery, Olusola Sowemimo, who leads Ope Farms in organic food production, and Aminat Aderayo Animashaun, founder of De'rayo, an Afrocentric fashion brand.

These women entrepreneurs have excelled in their respective fields, aiming for sustainability, cultural representation, and societal impact.
