I followed my boyfriend to his village for New Year. My boyfriend returned to the city a day after New Year celebration and left me behind in the village because his mom said she wants to study me for three months to know if I am a good wife material for her son or not. I didn’t want to stay but my guy pleaded with me to obey his mom , he further said that if I pass his mom’s test, he will go to my people and pay my bride price before this year runs out. I said ok and stayed back with the mom in the village. But the challenge am having now is that I am the only one doing everything in guy’s mom’s house, from sweeping and cleaning the house to washing plates and clothes, cooking and then I will still go to the farm to w33d her cassava farm. My guy’s mom and the grandson staying with her don’t do anything. And the work l0@d keep increasing every day, before I finished one task they will bring another one. Yesterday I called my guy and told him what I was going through he urged me to stop c0mplaining and work harder to pass his mom’s test, he now asked me if I don’t want to get married this year of which I answered yes. This morning I overheard my guy’s mom saying that I will help her to clear her new farm , plant corn and cassava before I go back to the city, she said I might have to stay longer than the three months initially agreed.

I was on my own when this girl texted me that she needs my help. I asked about what and she told me she want to make her ex boyfriend jealous,

"How I wan take help you for the matter? " I asked and she said I should just act like I'm her new boyfriend, we'll hang out together and play in a romantic way and do everything that will make him jealous, she said the guy must come to the usual place they always go on valentines, so I should just act like her new lover.

When the boy saw us, the girl told me to take her to the reception so I will lodge as the guy was looking, that it will make him more jealous.

I agreed and we walked toward the reception, I asked how much for a room and the receptionist said 18k, I nearly screamed, but I kept calm.

I told her to pay and she said if the guy see her paying, then he will think me her new boyfriend is broke, then he might not be jealous again.

The girl interrupting said "EMMAJESUS stop that! It's enough, thank you" she then turned to the guy and said
