" Trust me boy!,I don't mind if I crash into the sea and have a taste of how death feels like but we are going together,,we crash and taste your so planned death together,great isn't it?, "she asked, smiling cunningly at him

" I can't deny it, I think I like you already, feisty aren't you?,I would love to know you better,,,,your name? "he asked

" Just f**king drive, I'll drop in the next one minute "she hushed, getting annoyed

He simply smirked,,,

" Stop here,,,! "she snapped after a while and he instantly halted, before giving her a confused look

" Don't tell me you're gonna walk for the rest of the journey,,I can just drop you off at your house and go my way "he said as she stepped out of the car

" Seriously?,you must be kidding,,you think I'll let a complete stranger who just thought the idea of killing me off is a playing thing, I know better than to seat with a hired killer and a kidnapper "she said, slamming his car door and walking off

He was left speechless that he didn't know he was lost for a while,,,he was brought out of his trance and widened his eyes on realising she's gone

Wait!... he meant killing her, he wanted to,,but suddenly he forgot everything and did the dumbest thing by letting her go

Or was it an enchantment?

" Gross Royce!, you almost had her but foolishly let her slip off...,darn you! "he groused, flaring up suddenly as he ran his hand in his hair regretfully

Jeanne ran into her room, almost slipping as she ran up the stairs,,,she got in and slammed the door shut,she ran to her bed, and collapsed on her stomach

" Oh no!,I almost died,,I almost did, from the look in his eyes, his speaking, am sure he wanted me died,,or am I just thinking negatively? "she asked herself

" But he said after that that he didn't mean it,,or am I the one with a dark mind here??, I should have gone with Kingsley...,I should have "she closed her eyes, as she continued ranting to herself

" No Pearl's friend, you aren't the one with a dark mind,,he is. He meant it and almost did it but I had to use my power of enchantment on him,,,if you had use your bracelet Jeanne, you would have knew beforehand what was on his mind "A voice replied in her head

She snapped her head up and looked around the room, to see where the voice just came from

She jumped out of bed on seeing no one,,,

" Who are you!, Anyone in there?..,who's in? "she shouted on top of her voice, walking with caution to check the bathroom

" Am Pearl, Your new guardian,assigned to you from now on"the voice came again, echoing through the room

She flinched back, her back hitting the wall in the process

Her hands spread on the wall and pushing her back repeatedly against it, as if that could make her just vanish into it

" W..what do you want f..from me??, I don't know you so,,,so please go away, get out of my head!,"she shuttered slowly, her hands blocking her ears and her closed eyes felt as it was on fire

" I came to protect you, guard you and support you through thick and thin,,,we are bound together now Pearl's friend and there's no way am going away. I'll be here when you need me... "the voice toned, it echoing voice lowering at the saying of each word

She kept shaking her head repeatedly but still can't get the voice out of her head,,,until it finally stopped

She opened her eyes and it burned red, fire visible in them,,she blinked her lashes and her eyes went back to normal

" Oh heavens!,what's happening to me?, what's taking control of my body?, why is everything around me strange all of a sudden?,,,I hate this..I do!,"she cried, lowering herself to the floor and hugging her knees to herself

Next morning*****

" Good morning ma'am and welcome home,,,"A driver walked up to Olivia and greeted her from where she stood awaiting for his arrival

She's dressed elegantly, the dress showing all her hot curves and adorning her beautiful face, she's wearing a pair of sunglasses and an headphone over her head

" Hey!, Morning,,from the Young's right? "she said, giving him her best smile

" Yes ma'am,let's get you home "he nodded and helped her with her things

They got into the car and drove out of the airport,,

She placed her head on the car window,,enjoying the watching of the outside view

Her face lit up suddenly

" Pleads driver,,,stop at that ice-cream kiosk "she said excitedly, pointing to his front

" Yes Miss,, "the driver replied, stopping the car

She stepped out and starts to walk away but realising something, she turned

" Come on driver,,let's go get an ice cream or something more delicious for ourselves "she said,sending him an urging wave

The driver without hesitating hurried out of the car and followed her

Jeanne turned away, walking from the ice-cream kiosk

Jeanne bent her head to lick from the ice-cream, she hummed sweetly in satisfaction and made to take another step forward when she someone bumped into her

,,,causing the ice-cream to pour all over her face and cloth

" Gosh!, "Jeanne screamed in panic

" Oh God,,,am so sorry...I'm sorry miss "Olivia pleaded, rushing to her and trying to touch her

" You just f**king stained my clothes, people will think of me to be mad if I walk inches away from here,,,not to talk of my way home "Jeanne half yelled, looking up at her face for the first time

" I'm sorry,,,I'll take you somewhere to fix it, trust me. She's going with us "Olivia said and then turned to the driver

" No!, who knows if you're a kidnapper or,,,,"Jeanne shakes her head and starts to walk away

" Wait!!!,,,let me fix this please, if am a kidnapper, I would have forced you instead of exchanging words with you "Olivia shouted on top of her voice, stopping her

" Fine,,, "Jeanne rolled her eyes in acceptance

Kingsley stepped down the stairs and stopped halfway at the opening of the door,,He was about taking his final walk downstairs when Olivia ran in

" My KING!,,"Olivia ran into his arms and reluctantly ,he embraced her back

She disengaged from the hug and looked into his eyes

" I missed you,,,"she muttered and kissed him with all affection left inside of her and as she did, his eyes landed on someone behind them

" If you lovebirds are done with your things, can I be attended to? "Jeanne finally spoke up, done with hiding her irritation

" What are you doing here Jeanne? "Kingsley pushed Olivia slightly to a side before dashing off to her
,,,and before she could speak, he dragged her off in a hurry to a room

He pushed her in and closed the door before turning to her

" Where is the toilet,,,call her in so I can do what am here for and leave "she said

" Who is Olivia to you? "he asked and she scoffed

"A few minutes bumper,,she bump into me. And same question for you, who is she to you?? "she crossed her arms on her chest

" Hmm,,,she's my betrothed "he said, scratching the back of his neck

An approaching steps could be heard and almost immediately, the door started to open

He caught her by the arm and pulled her closer,,,he was able to hold her face in his hand before the door opened, and as soon as he felt Olivia's presence, he claimed her lips

"It might sound weird and crazy Jeanne but,,,can,,,can I kiss you?? "he asked, giving her a seductive wink

She couldn't believe her ears just heard that, like did that just came out of his mouth?,maybe he really wasn't talking to her,,but heck Jeanne!, obviously there's no one in there apart from them
She almost considered it real but not until he unwrapped his hands from her waist and burst out laughing, his head throws back

She frowned her face, wondering what's so funny

He stopped laughing and looked at her before shaking his head, trying to prevent himself from another laughing fit

" Like seriously?,I wished you could see the look on your face earlier,,,well, it's nothing more than a dumb prank but wait Jeanne!,do you think I was going to kiss you?,come on, I might be a player but kissing you would be the worst thing I will ever do "he said

" Thank God you said it yourself cause the feeling is mutual,,there's no f**king way I'll ever let a player and bad boy like you kiss me, never!,"she replied with a snigger

" Whatever you say sweetheart, but next time you should put it at the back of your mind to say it low,,cause I know you won't like it if all the school girls rushed at you for saying that to their handsome crush,,,,many girls would kill to have me "he said, walking to the door

" And I'll always be waiting for them,,I'll kick their a$$es that those love they've got for your will fly away,"she replied before he finally walked out and he just scoffed

She picked her things and starts to make her way out of the class when the door opened,,she stopped walking when Joyce marched in with her cronies

Joyce's face light up with a deadly smirk on seeing her, and stopped before her,,,

" Wow Jeanne Brown, we meet again don't we?,,I'm glad to see your dirty face ugly as usual "Joyce said, scoffing menacingly

" Thank goodness you're here cause I don't mind searching the whole of hell for you before the end of today,,,you want trouble, and trouble you shall get "she said, her tone full with great loath for her

" Oh! I see, so you can still run your dirty mouth, and heck you Joyce, I thought you were brave but not until you were shivering and quavering in between the whole of the school after stealing what doesn't belong to you,,,and if I were you, I won't come to school for the whole of the week "Joyce said

" I've always knew you did it you devilish being,,,and you know what you're facing my wrath for that "she said replied

" Just look at her,,the scared cat of few days ago,,,like seriously I don't know why Kingsley showed up to help you out when you should have died of shame and..."Joyce pointed at her as she talked but could only get it halfway when she caught hold of the hand

,,,,And swirled her around, twisting the hand behind her

Joyce's voice let out a wave of hurt mixed with fear that her cronies started moving backward in panic

" You did it or not,,,,answer my damn question!, "she thundered, twisting her hand the more with clear impatience

" I didn't do it...I don't know any f**king thing about what you just said!! "Joyce whimpered

And at that moment,,it dawned on her she had to do something

She brought out her phone from her back trouser pocket and clicked on recording,,,

" Leave her the f**k alone Jeanne!, "Bentley said lowly,knowing her voice dared not get any louder

" Don't get on my last nerves b*tch!!"she growled louder this time, slamming her back on the wall

" Y...yes I did,,,I did set you up with the necklace to get you out of the way so release me! "Joyce shouted out in pains, with shut eyes that's welling up in tears already

She let go of her at once and as Joyce turned to her slowly;

" Rot in hell!!,,"she said, hitting her fist on her face, causing her to fall on the concrete floor due to the heavy punch

She pressed the stop on the recorder and saved it before turning around but smirked seeing her damned friends had took to their heels

She walked out without sparing a glance at Joyce groans which clearly spells hurt

" You mean you did all that,and for recording her bad deeds,,,I give you a thumb up "Tatiana beamed with smiles, as the three of them like usual walk their way to the cafeteria

" Yes, I greatly did,,,"Jeanne nodded triumphantly

" Superb Lady Jeanne,,though I always go against your kicking of bad a$$es but this time you did,,,I love you, swears "Lillian screamed, running a little ahead of them in excitement

" Thanks Lil,,,I also give myself a kudos for a job well done. She'll walk around the school with her gaze on the floor now in shame once the whole school knows about it, plus I trust her not to cross my path again "Jeanne replied

" I'll have to tell my dad about this,,,he should throw her away from the school as soon as possible "Tatiana said, as they took their seats at a table

" I'll go get our orders,,,, "Lillian said, standing up and walking away when they arrived at what they'll be taking for lunch

Malcolm walked to the parking lot and stopped at Kingsley car which he's standing beside with Ronnie

He stopped before them and they raised their head noticing his arrival

" Here it is Kingsley,,,,,Olivia sent a letter "Malcolm stretched out a neatly wrapped letter towards him

" What could it be?, "Kingsley said, as he took it and started unwrapping it

He stretched out the letter and ran his eyes over it,,,

" Olivia is arriving tomorrow morning,,"Kingsley filled them in, looking up

" Really?,then I can't wait to see her,,,,"Ronnie said

" Let's get going, we've got no time to waste "Malcolm said and they headed to their different cars, while Kingsley just entered his

Jeanne did the last thing which is parking her hair up before walking out of the room, jogging down the stairs

She met Lillian at the dinning working on her assignment,,,,

" Thank God you're here ma'am Jeanne, I've always known you to be a lifesaver "Lillian said looking up at her with brightened eyes

" What did I Jeanne Brown, the lifesaver needs to do for you,,,at your service always "she said, and bowed a hand forward and the other behind her back

,,,,causing Lillian to laugh at her comical act

" My assignment lady Jeanne, it need more explanation which Mr Raymond our lazy math teacher couldn't give cause of a stupid date,,,could you please explain further "Lillian requested pouting cutely

" Okay,,,let's get down to it, am going somewhere in few minutes "she said, seating befuddled her

" Thanks lady Jeanne,yay! "Lillian squealed, happily

YummyVille Restaurant****

Jeanne walked into the restaurant and smiled happily,,she saw this restaurant which is opposite their school today at closing and decided she should check it out,,,,

" Hi!, A plate of chick sauce and cheese with casserole, plus a cup of wine please "she stopped and told the waitress in charge

" Okay,,I will in... "

" You can go Isabelle, I'll do it "A guy cut her off, running to take her post and pushing her out gently

" But,, okay, thanks "Isabelle wanted to protest to clamped her mouth shut realising she could do a few things with the little time and hurried off

" Hi,,am Royce "the cute guy stretched his hand forward for a handshake

" Okay, My order is a plate of chicken sauce,,,and cheese with casserole along with a cup of wine "she said, not taking his hand

" Okay Miss, I'll get you just that,,, "he said and gave her a handsome smile before leaving

She smiled mentally at his cuteness,but the thing is, he's not as cute as bad boy Kingsley

" Here I am "Royce's voice brought her out of her small trance

" Yeah,,,,thanks "she nodded nervously before taking the tray and walking off to an empty seat

Minutes later,,a waitress came and she paid her before walking out of the restaurant

She was only few steps away when she heard the Royce guy calling her,,,,

" Yes? "she stopped and turned to him

" Your,,,your phone Miss, you actually forgot it "Royce smiled tiredly, gasping for breathe

Causing her to wonder in her mind if few steps of running actually made him breathless but wait!, she shouldn't be ungrateful right?

The poor guy just did her good by returning her phone,,isn't that great!

" Thank you so much em,,,"she stopped shirt realising she doesn't catch his name earlier

" Royce,,"he completed it for her, smiling

"Yes Royce, thank you "she added the name and nodded, returning his smile

" Hey pretty girl,,,"a hoarse voice said and she turned her head to see the owner of the voice and one other,,no two,,three?, no....

As her eyes ran over them one after the other and counting, she knew at once,,they weren't ordinary, they are hoodlums

" What do you want?? "Royce first her to say, his voice a little rough

" Who are they? "she looked at him and asked

" They are these street's hoodlums and what they want is what I don't know or get "he said

She was about talking when the first fat guy charged at her,,,she wanted to charge back at him but he dragged her back

" I will get them,,I mean, handle them "he said

" No,,,I can take care of myself, you should be the one who shouldn't get hurt "she said and immediately did her things

She beats them to death,,,beating and punching the hell out of them which took Royce by surprise, but covered it up with a smirk

In a minute,,,she was done and the hoodlums were laying on the floor groaning

" Bye,,,"she said and started walking away, stepping intentionally at the hoodlums as she did

She stopped walking when the sky thundered and rain started to fall, pouring heavily

" Heck!,how will I get home??,,,"she said to herself, looking down at her already wet self

A familiar car stopped before her,,she looked at who it is but we was surprised it could be no other person than Kingsley Young

" Hey Miss,,mind coming with me for a ride home, I own a car,,,"Royce shouted out to her, from a distance

Kingsley peeped out of the window and she noticed as his eyes darkened immediately he set his eyes on Royce

Royce met his eyes and smirked wickedly,,glaring at Kingsley

" Get the heck inside Jeanne, the rain is drenching you and you might catch a cold sooner "Kingsley said, urgency in his voice

" Miss!!!,,come on! "Royce shouted, on top of his voice this time

" Sorry Kingsley,but he offered first, goodnight "she said

" Jeanne! "Kingsley called out to her but she's already gone

" Damn it!!,,I f**king hate you Royce! "Kingsley seethed, hitting his hands on the car steering

She ran to Royce and they entered his car,,he started the car and took off with a proud smirk on his face

" Thanks Royce,,"she smiled at him,in appreciation and he merely nodded

Few minutes later,,she was in a little bit of panic when he increased the car speed, speeding dangerously on the tarred road

" Hmm Royce,,could you please drive normally like before? "she toned out, softly and he scoffed aloud

" What do you think Beauty,,oh sorry, Kingsley's beauty, do you perhaps knows everything about death? I mean, mind to know how it would feel like to crash into a deep blue sea? "he asked, his gaze burning murderously into hers

Whaaat!!,what did he just say?did he just said he's crashing her? like,,he'll be killing her off??!
