Throwback to our Mental Health and Wellness Fair at Oke Odo Community, Lagos.

In collaboration with our amazing partners, Livingvines Mental Health Foundation, Emzor Pharmaceutical Limited, Ichad Project Foundation, Oyinyechi Development Foundation, Salvation Initiative for the Vulnerable (SIV), and Ola Coker Foundation, we reached over 115 elderly community members with free health screenings, medical consultations, medications, mental health education, and clothing support.

From blood pressure and sugar level checks to wellness talks and emotional support, the outreach was a reminder that caring for the elderly means caring for the heart, mind, and body.

We remain committed to promoting healthy aging, mental wellness, and improved quality of life for older adults in our communities.

There’s something quietly powerful about growing older.

With age comes a deeper sense of self, stronger resilience, and stories that carry wisdom no textbook can teach. Every line tells a journey. Every year reflects strength, growth, and grace.

At Compassion for the Aged Foundation (CAF), we celebrate the beauty and depth that come with aging. Our elders are not just living longer; they are living legacies.

This Monday, we honor the strength, wisdom, and dignity of older adults everywhere.

Let’s continue to support, respect, and uplift them, not just today, but always.

How to Prevent Loneliness and Isolation in Aging

Aging should be a time of dignity, connection, and purpose, not isolation. Many older adults experience loneliness due to reduced mobility, retirement, or loss of loved ones.

At Compassion for the Aged Foundation (CAF), we encourage simple actions that make a difference:

Stay connected through regular visits, calls, and messages.
Encourage social participation in community and faith-based activities.

Promote active living with light exercise and daily routines.
Support hobbies that bring joy and purpose.

Encourage digital inclusion to help older adults stay connected online.

Consistent care and attention can greatly reduce loneliness in aging.

Reach out to an elderly person today.
