There are some messages you receive and you just sit down, smile, and say…

Some months ago, a young man running his MBA program in Canada reached out to me through a referral.

At first, he sounded calm.

But you know that kind of calmness that is not really calmness?

Deep down, the guy was tired.

The man even added “Well done.”

Omo! 😂

Do you know what it means for a supervisor to add “Well done”?

That one is not ordinary English.

That means, “you are on the right track.”
That is the supervisor’s version of standing ovation.
That is the kind of “Well done” that can make somebody cook rice and chicken on a weekday. 😂

When my client sent me the message, he was so excited.

He said his heart had been skipping before, but now he was relieved.

I asked him, “Has he told you to continue?”

He said, “Yes, he said I can continue.”

That was the moment I told him:

“Now let’s burst his brain finally. He must grade you high.” 😂

And honestly, that is the goal.

Not just to submit work.

Not just to escape supervisor’s wahala.
