One false belief in cake calligraphy is that if you have an amazing handwriting, you just tend to be great at cake calligraphy.

To me, that's false.

For context, I have a very beautiful handwriting. I write really well, and I used to think that because I had such an amazing handwriting, I would be great at writing on cakes.

Guess what ? E no work o.

Writing on paper or on the board, and writing on cakes feels like very two different things. E shock me.
